    As much as I love Erum's work, but here she is speaking from a place of privilege, and hence looking at this subject matter from a skewed viewpoint. My body my choice is a slogan that has a history rooted in violence, r*pe and health malpractices. It has nothing to do with fahashi, as people here all around us keeping trying to make it sound like. I regularly get cases that are horrifying, and over there the victim's body has become a battleground for the men in their lives. Just recently I got a case where a woman had two children with her husband, and during her childbirth, her husband told the gynea to tie her tubes, all without her permission. A year later the same husband gives her a divorce simply because he found a younger woman he wanted to marry, and he left her. Two years later she re-marries, and this time to her cousin. They tried having children but couldnt, until the first husband (who was also a cousin) comes and tells the second husband about tying her tubes. The second husband then divorced her on these grounds. Nowhere in this story was the woman's permission taken for such a life altering procedure, and she now suffers two divorces because of one incredibly selfish man. This is just one example. There are so many i cant even begin to tell you. Erum says herself that she is from the upper 1% in America due to her businesses, which speaks to her privilege in this situation. Of course she has no idea what the pain behind a woman who has her hands bound by society, and her body being riddled by whoever wants their way with it. She should have the empathy and understanding, or at least the basic research before she throws women under the bus for this slogan. Very disappointing to see this point of view being pushed forward, in a world where DEI is being propagated for the betterment of society. These sort of ideas only push a nation backwards, and not forwards, just like the many cases we hear daily in the news and cases all over Pakistan where women are made a mockery of, misrepresented or put through extreme violence. I expect character assassination under my comment, because if we had a tolerant and humanity friendly society, we wouldn't be standing in the economic and social sinkhole we are in today. Really disappointed with his post.

    Dono ho case main mushkil hota hai. Married life main bhi mushkil hai or divorcy main bhi and unmarried ho still mushkil. Women ki life bahut hard hoti hai compare to men chahe wo kisi bhi religion ki ho. Men ki life bhi hard hoti hai par still ok for men

They falsely claim to love you/be friends with you but all they do is to have sex with you make you pregnant and then leave you all alone thus destroys your life or else force you to convert to hinduism after marriage thus destroys your emaan ! In the shadow of the fake narrative of Love Jihad( which rarely happens or they themselves create dummy cases to degrade Muslims and Islam), hindus have already pregnant, aborted and murdered many Ayeshas, sanas, fatemas, afrins, parvins etc but obviously those cases never get highlighted in the mainstream media coz the girl is muslim and boy is hindu otherwise if the opposite happens they telecast it for about a month!
